American premium appliance manufacturer founded in Pasadena in 1965 and acquired by Samsung in 2016. The brand has stayed in the built-in luxury segment, and the current platforms sit on Samsung engineering with Dacor design and controls.

- Dual-fuel ranges pair a gas surface with an electric oven, which means two supply circuits and two independent failure domains in one chassis.
- Column refrigeration and wine storage use sealed systems that require EPA Section 608 certification and proper recovery equipment for any work on the refrigerant circuit.
- Warming drawers, steam ovens and speed ovens in the line each add a subsystem absent from a conventional oven — humidity control, a water circuit, or a microwave section.
