Built Like Commercial Equipment
True Residential grew out of True Manufacturing, a commercial refrigeration builder in St. Louis. The residential line carries that engineering over: heavy-gauge stainless construction, commercial-grade compressors and fan motors, and forced-air systems designed for continuous duty rather than intermittent household use.
That construction changes what service looks like. Components are heavier and more accessible than in a typical built-in, but the sealed system still requires EPA Section 608 certification, proper recovery equipment, and factory procedures. Glass-door and lighted display models add door heater and LED circuits that are absent from solid-door units.
