EC codes appear on the control display of built-in refrigeration. The same code family is used across Classic, Designer, PRO and wine storage.

| EC50 | Excessive refrigerator compressor run time |
| EC70 | Refrigerator high-temperature condition |
| EC80 | Freezer high-temperature condition |
A fault code identifies what the control detected, not which part failed. A sensor error can be the sensor, the harness, the connector, or the board reading it.
