Water left after a cycle
Note when the water remains, whether the cycle completed and the exact display message. A drainage symptom alone does not establish which part needs replacement.

Start with what you observe
Dishes not washing or drying as expected
Record the selected program, detergent, rinse aid and whether the concern affects the entire load or one rack.
Leak or repeated pumping
Describe where water was first visible and whether pumping continues when no cycle is selected. Stop using an appliance if continued operation could be unsafe.
Have a display message?
Save the complete message and model label. Code meanings and diagnostic procedures can vary by model and series; the display alone does not confirm a failed part.
Prepare for the visit
Photograph the complete model and serial label at the door opening if it is safely accessible. Include whether the appliance is panel-ready, how the drain is connected and any recent installation or plumbing work.
- Complete model and serial number, if safely accessible.
- The exact symptom, full display message and when it occurs.
- Installation photos and known access restrictions.
Diagnosis and the repair decision
The visit follows the exact dishwasher design and reported symptom. Findings and the proposed repair are reviewed with you before work is authorized.
The technician explains the findings and proposed scope. Parts, additional access work and any revised repair scope are agreed before that work proceeds.
